Whew, another day of awesome(ly tiring) mini-sessions in the books! It's a good thing I only do these twice a year. I'm pushing mid-thirties, you know.
The park where the Old Mill is located was absolutely beautiful with blooming trees, lush greenery and hidden pockets of landscaping that made perfect backdrops. The hidden pockets part was crucial because everyone and their mother (ok, every high school senior and their mother) were out at the park taking pictures in their prom attire. This proved challenging for two reasons: first, the dresses were a rainbow of florescent colors (and, in some cases, florescent rainbows) which weren't going to blur into the background no matter how much bokeh I achieved; and second, some of my subjects had no interest in looking at me or my Elmo-decked camera, because I myself was not wearing a sparkly "princess" dress and everyone around me was. I will be wearing my old prom dress next year after dropping 20 pounds and saving up for a Bedazzler.
So anyway... Enjoy these pretty springtime photos, and the pretty people in them!
I am so proud to say that my slots were all filled by repeat clients and referrals, which means the world to me. Repeats and referrals allow me to keep my advertising costs down (and by down I mean ZERO) which in turn helps me keep session fees down. Win-win! I am so grateful to all of you.
