Last year Adam & Kristin asked me to photograph their family for a profile book they were putting together. The book would be submitted to their adoption agency, which would then use it to present their family to potential birth mothers who were making adoption plans for their babies. Having recently gone through the process ourselves, I was more than excited to help make that happen! I also told them about Red Thread Sessions, and that their next family photo session would be on the house. ;) Within a matter of months they brought home their youngest son, Micah. I was honored to capture these precious moments for them over the weekend on a beautiful morning outside the Clinton Library. And a trolley at the end? Just the spur-of-the-moment icing on the cake for little Emerson. Special thanks to the trolley operator for inviting us on board and letting us take our sweet time. Enjoy!
